The new Website of Prader-Willi-Syndrom Vereinigung Deutschland e.V.
The Briefing
The Prader-Willi-Syndrom Vereinigung Deutschland e.V. is the central point of contact for those affected, their families and professionals dealing with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Over the years, a growing body of content had led to an unclear structure that barely served the needs of its different target groups – particularly on mobile devices and for users with specific accessibility requirements.
We were commissioned to carry out a full relaunch with a focus on accessibility, mobile first and clear user guidance. The goal was not to replace the existing content, but to strategically restructure and consolidate it into an intuitive, audience-appropriate platform. Key calls to action such as membership and donations were to be integrated organically throughout.

The Result
What emerged is an accessible, mobile-optimised platform that brings structure and humanity into balance. The existing body of content was fundamentally rethought: information was consolidated, strategically organised and transferred into a clear, user-centred information architecture. A restrained design with warm orange tones and calm typography builds trust and recognition – without overwhelming the visitor visually.
At the heart of the restructuring is a life-phase-oriented approach: those affected, their families and professionals can find exactly the content that matches their current situation – without having to navigate through unrelated areas. Intuitive navigation paths, supportive wayfinding elements on content-heavy subpages, and prominently yet organically integrated calls to action such as "Become a Member" and "Donate" complete the user journey.
A central resource that makes existing knowledge truly accessible – giving people at every stage of their journey with Prader-Willi Syndrome reliable orientation and guidance.
